Adelaide Jones

Adelaide (Addie) Elizabeth Jones of Hickory, N.C. passed away on Thursday, 30 November 2017. She was a lifetime member of Macedonia Lutheran Church in Prosperity, S.C.  She retired from the South Carolina Highway Department, Greenville, S.C. Division.  She also owned a gift shop, Addy's Place, in Maggie Valley, N.C.
Addie was the daughter of the late Jeff Hamm and Mary Lou Moore Hamm.  She is survived by one brother Glenn L. Hamm of Prosperity, S.C. and preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Addie was preceded in death by her husband, J W David Jones.  She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte (Jimmy - deceased) Brewer of Jacksonville, FL and Pam (Paul) Zube of Hickory, N.C., seven grandchildren, Christy Brewer and Michelle Brewer of Jacksonville, FL., Amanda (Shawn) Mack of Middleburg, FL., Jessica (Justin) Doherr and Aaron Zube of Hickory, N. C., Laina Zube of Wilmington, N.C. and Paul Zube Jr. of Oregon, nine great-grandchildren, McKenzie Brewer and Austin Brewer of Jacksonville, FL, Abbi, Marc, Caleb, Annie and Ellie Doherr of Hickory, N.C., Jaden Zube of Virginia and Xane Zube of Newton, N.C.
A private family Memorial Service will be held graveside at Macedonia Lutheran Church overlooking Lake Murray in Prosperity SC.
