Agnes Russell

Agnes Helen Russell, 85 of CSI Farm Road, Hickory formerly of Beacon, NY died Friday, February 24, 2012 at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley. Born May 17, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Anna McManus McKinstry & Mark Stanaslous McKinstry. Agnes was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Her husband of 63 years, Richard Joseph Russell Sr. of the home; two daughters, Carol Christoffersen and husband Keith of Candor, NY and Margaret Grzybicki and husband Ronald of Las Vegas, NV; three sons, Richard Russell Jr. and wife Anna of Newburgh, NY, Arthur Russell and fiancé, Debora of Asheville, NC and Christopher Russell and wife Betty of Hickory, NC; two sisters, Helen Robertson of Beacon, NY and Jean Lopez of Danbury, CT; a niece, Lillian Rousseau and several other nieces and nephews; 11 grand children, George Rainboth of Candor, NY, Todd Christoffersen of Candor, NY, Lisa Toscano of Fishkill, NY, Marci Soulia of Las Vega, NV, Ronald Grzybicki, Jr of Las Vegas, NV, Scott Grzybicki of Lemoore, CA, Ashley Russell of Manhatten Beach, CA, Robert Jones of Banner Elk, NC, Michael Russell of Hickory, NC, Courtney Truitt of Hickory, NC and Nicholas Russell of Hickory, NC and 11 great grand children survive her. Two sisters, Dorothy Killough, and Anna Bonetti, and three brothers, John McKinstry, Robert McKinstry and Mark Mckinstry, Jr. preceded her in death. A funeral mass will be 10:00 am on Saturday March 3, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Beacon, NY. Burial will be at a later date in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
