Alan Richard Maynard, 91 of Hickory died Wednesday, June 17th, 2015 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born September 22nd, 1923 he was the son of Roy Maynard, Sr. and Geraldine Turner Maynard.

The funeral will be held in Vermont at a later date.
