Albert Miller

Albert Frank Miller, Jr. 70 died Monday, March 22, 2010 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born September 15, 1939 in Dade Co., Florida, he was the son of the late Albert Frank Miller, Sr. & Frances Page Miller. He was a loving father, grand-father and great grand-father. For most of his life he was an electrician. He raised and showed quarter horses. He was an avid sportsman who loved hunting, fishing, camping and the great outdoors. His wife of 52 years, Sandra Lee Gibson Miller; a daughter, Cindy Marie Lavarnway & her husband Mark of Saranac, NY; three sons, Todd Michael Miller and wife Jennifer of Conover, Glenn Alan Miller of Saranac, NY and Chip Alexander Miller & wife Carolina of Hickory; a brother, Glenn Alan Miller & wife Linda of Cocoa Beach, Florida; 11 grand-children; Nicole, Austin, Robbe Jr., Richard, Cassandra, Leigh, Spencer, Dylan, Jacob, Scott and Jessica; 10 great grand-children and a cousin, Marie Batten of Bonita Springs, Florida survive him. A son; Albert Frank â??Duaneâ? Miller, III preceded him in death. The funeral will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev., Dr. Stephen Disher officiating.
