Alicia Dunn

Alicia Ruth Comby Dunn, 87 of 29th Ave. NE, Hickory died Thursday, October 14, 2010 in Hickory. She was born August 24, 1923 to her parents, the late Henry Buchard & Alice Mae Little Comby. Alicia was a graduate of Chickasha High School, attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, OK. She worked for the American Red Cross and for the U.S. Government in many capacities, including the Dept. of Agriculture. Two step-sons, Michael Dunn and Pat Dunn, both of Oklahoma; a brother, William J. “Bill” Comby of Conover; and a number of nieces & nephews survive her. Her first husband, Charles Page Campbell and 2nd husband, Howard O’Quinn Dunn; three brothers, Henry Burchard Comby, Jr., Harvey Richard Comby, Jack Allen Comby; three sisters, Beryl C. Leek, Jean C. Cramer and Doris Nadine Comby preceded her in death. A graveside service will be 11:00am Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha, OK. Dr. Rockford Johnson of Epworth United Methodist Church will officiate. The family will receive friends 6:30-8:00 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2010 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Newton.
