Allen Bowman

Allen Michael Bowman, 20 of Sigmon Dairy Road died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born November 15, 1990, he was the son of Randy Eugene Bowman & Patricia Annette Buff Bowman of the home. Allen was a 2009 graduate of Maiden High School and student at Catawba Valley Community College. A brother, Daniel E. Bowman of the home & fiancé Kristy Robinson of Newton; a half brother, Donald Norman of Valdese; Paternal Grandparents, Allen “Gene” Bowman and wife Jacqueline Bowman of Granite Falls; Maternal grand-mother, Wanda English of Newton and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins survive him. His Grand-mother, Margie Bowman preceded him in death. The funeral service will be 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2010 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jerry Hill will officiate. A gathering of friends will be 4-6:00 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2010 at the funeral home. The burial will be private at Southside Cemetery in Newton, Saturday, January 1, 2011.
