Douglas Allen Ellis 50 of Conover died December 11th, 2012 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born August 25th, 1962 He was the son of the late Douglas McArthur Ellis and Nina Lee Cannon. Two brothers, Tony Ellis of Hickory and Randy Ellis and wife Deloris of Prairieville, LA; a sister, Theresa Sherrill of Newton; a step mother, Delores Ellis of Hickory; three neices, Tonya Ellis of Hickory, Tosha Ellis of Hickory and Stephanie Taylor of Cherokee; two nephews, Randy Ellis, Jr. and Daren Ellis both of Louisiana and several great neices and nephews. survive him.
