Althea Clark

Althea Ann Clark, 60 of Iron Station died Friday, May 26th, 2017 at Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center. Born January 1st, 1957 she was the daughter of the late Thomas Clark and Doretha Staley Clark. She  was employed by Mohican Mills in Maiden, NC for over 20 years.   A son;  Demetrious A. Clark and wife Shadiva of Iron Station, NC. Grandson; Chris Clark, Granddaughters; Trinity and Destiny Clark; and Tara Kirkpatrick, Brothers; Thomas and wife Wanda of Charlotte, NC; Terry and wife Etta Jane of Stanley, NC; Blair Clark of Iron Station, NC; Ray Clark of Lincolnton, NC; Sisters; Ella Staley of Iron Station, NC; Rita Bynum of Lincolnton, NC; Issie Anderson and husband Billy of Stanley, NC; and Brenda Brackett and husband James of Gaffney, SC; Friend; Randy Little; as well as 22 nieces and nephews survive her. Parents; Thomas Clark Sr; and Doretha Staley Clark, and sister Jacqueline Friday preceded her in death. The funeral will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 31st, 2017 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm Wednesday, May 31st, 2017 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
