Andrew Eller

Andrew Christopher â??Chrisâ? Eller, 50 of Newton went to be with his Lord on August 21 at Palliative Care Center & Hospice of Catawba Valley. Born January 26, 1958 in Hickory, he was the son of A.C. and Katie Smith Eller. Chris was employed for 25 years with Eller Frames Inc., and was currently employed with Hunts Galleries. It was said that he was an awesome frame builder. A loving son, brother, father, grandfather and â??Uncle Chrisâ?. He is survived by his parents A.C. and Katie Eller of Newton; Son, Justin Eller of Newton; Daughter, Amber Eller of Maiden; Three beautiful grand-daughters- the lights of his life, Katelyn, Jocelyn and Carissa; Sisters, Darlene & Billy Pipes of Hickory, Diane Holt of Newton; Nephew, Daren & Tammy Blankenship of New York; Nieces, Melody Holt of Morganton, Heather & Tom Lawson of Conover; Four great-nieces and four great-nephews and care giver Linda Woods Eller. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Reverend Joseph Yarborough. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral at 12:00 p.m. Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be conducted at Catawba Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to Palliative Care Center and Hospice of Catawba Valley, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton N.C. 28658.  The family wishes to thank the wonderful people of Palliative Care Center and Hospice of Catawba Valley for the warm and loving care that Chris received.
