Ann Frank

Ann McKenzie Frank, 90, of Hickory arrived at her eternal home on April 27, 2023. Ann was born July 18th, 1932 in Anson County, North Carolina.

Ann loved cooking for and serving others. She especially loved children, serving in the church nursery for many years and working in the lunch room at Mountain View Elementary School for 23 years. Ann enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, camping, watching the Braves and singing in the choir. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and long-time member of the ladies auxiliary of Mountain View Volunteer Fire Department.

Ann is rejoicing after being reunited with her spouse and soulmate of 61 years, Martin G Frank Jr. She is also again joined with her parents, Ed and Jewel McKenzie as well as her brothers, Tommy, Jimmy and Kevin and sister, Elsie.

Those missing her here on earth until they see her again are her daughter, MaryAnn Brown (Jim), son, Richard Frank (Kelly), Son, Joe Frank and daughter, Nancy Frank; grandchildren, Waylon, Jessica, CJ, Lacy, Martin, Quinn, Carlos, Jacob, Coby and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Sophie, Ethan, Sophia, Xander, McKenzie, Aubreigh and Holt.

The funeral will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Providence Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Dale officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 P.M. and burial will follow at the Church cemetery.
