Anne Whitt

Anne Marie Whitt, 51, of Hickory passed away Sunday, August 27th, 2023. Born, February 17th, 1972 she was the daughter of Bobby Joe Whitt and the late Sherry Ann Whitt. She loved hunting for treasures, that she would selflessly give to others. She was a one of a kind that would alway lend a helping hand. She was an unforgettable daughter, mother, and friend that will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Erika Christopher of Hickory; two sons, Andrew Christopher (Sara) of Hickory and Anthony Christopher of Hickory; a sister Becky Rookard (Ed) of Conover; a brother, Charlie Whitt of Hickory; eight grandchildren Carson, Daniel, Chase, Hunter, Leroy, Ariah, Serenity, and Doug; a niece, Katie Whitt of Hickory; a lifelong friend Amanda Keller; a boyfriend Jerry Mooneyham; and many more loved nieces, nephews, friends and family.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Akire; two nephews, Joshua Potter and Kris Stewart; and her beloved, Eric Christopher.

The family will receive friends from 2-3PM Monday, September 4th, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with the memorial service following at 3PM.
