Avery Sisk

Avery Talmadge Sisk, 81, of Lincolnton passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Atrium Health Lincoln. Born January 2nd, 1942, he was the son of the late Dewitt and Edna Sisk.

Mr. Sisk, also known as Coffee Cup Man, will be remembered for his famous House of Mugs in Collettsville, NC. He was a very loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a very giving man, who touched a lot of people's hearts.

He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Doris Sisk, his sons Charles Dwayne Sisk, Phillip (Teresa) Sisk, and Kyle (Cherie) Sisk, his grandchildren Cassidy (Seth) Causby, Zach (Beth) Sisk, Matt (Allison) Sisk, Justin (Brittany) Sisk, Jamie Sisk, Tyler (Abby) Sisk, Indiana Sisk, Emma Sisk, and Kadyn Sisk, great-grandchildren Zaedyn, Kingston, Emmett, Declan, Avery, Chandler, and Monroe, sisters Ruby and Shirley, all of Lincolnton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Leona, Dwight, Ott, Florina, and Basil.

The funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Holman officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
