Barbara Gayle Hefner 81 of Hickory died Friday, July 3, 2020 at Carolina Caring. Born June 10th, 1939 she was the daughter of the late James Edward Gibson and Bonnie Kay Gibson.
Her son Michael Hefner and wife Jill of Hickory; and grandson Chris Hefner of Hickory survive her.
In addition to her parents her husband Marshall J. Hefner and sister Mary Jo Wilkinson preceded her in death.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Carolina Caring at 3975 Robinson Rd, Newton, NC 28658
