Barbara Ann Hill

Barbara Ann Hill, 79, of Newton transitioned on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at her residence. Born July 15th, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Robert Lortz and Margaret Lineberger.

She is survived by two daughters, Seadilia Hill of the home and Rita Phelps of Lincolnton; her son, Tony Smith of Lincolnton; three sisters, Mareella Lineberger, Dortha Lineberger and Beverly Lineberger; grandchildren, Boise Blake, Justin Hill, Whitley Manner, Lamisha Cross, Vonetta Blake and great-grandchildren, Darius Cross, CoCo Cross, Nyjavia Blake and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Edward Hill; siblings, Sandra Lineberger, Franky Lineberger and Larry Lineberger.
