Barbara Helen Miles 63 of Hickory died Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Carolina Caring. Born September 19th, 1955 she was the daughter of Bobby Eugene Miles and Helen Hayes Miles.
Those left to cherish her memory include sisters Patty M. Derr of Maiden, Deborah Miles of Maiden, Janice Rinehardt of Newton and Pamela Miles of Hickory; brothers James Hayes of Maiden and Clarence Hayes of Maiden; daughter Shanna T. Brooks and husband Kevin Brooks and son Brandon Miles and wife Sherry Miles; grandchildren Dimitri Austin Miles, Deondre Khalil Adams, Brianna S. Esposito and husband Nick Esposito, Marques K. Miles, and Darius T. Miles; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Her parents Bobby Eugene Miles and Helen Hayes Miles preceded her in death.
The funeral will be 12:00 pm Friday August 30, 2019 at St. James United Methodist Church with Rev. Brandon Miles officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:30-12:00 pm Friday August 30, 2019 at the church.
Jenkins Funeral Home staff is not involved in the memorial service at the church.
