Barbara Rogers

Barbara Ann Whitener Rogers, 83, of Lincolnton died Monday, September 23, 2024 at her Home. Born September 30th, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Clyde Whitener and Effie Whitener. Barbara loved her grand children they were her pride and joy.

Barbara is survived by her three children, Donald Rogers and wife Evelyn of Lincolnton, Rebecca Rogers of Cornelius, and Amy Rogers Elkins of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Gabriel Rogers and Landry Elkins; and brothers, C.W. Whitener and Harold Whitener.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Rogers, Sr; sister, Martha Gilbert; and brothers, Joe Whitener and Allen Whitener.

Celebration of Life for Barbara and Donald will be held at 2pm, October 12, 2024 at Coral Park Baptist Church, 295 Springs East Road, Lincolnton, NC, 28092.
