She is survived by daughters, Nina Ledford Greene (David) of Newton and Pat Ledford Wilson (Phillip) of Newton; daughter-in-law Prisca Ledford of Newton; a sister Lucille Canipe (Ray) of Lawndale, sister-in-law Linda Cook of Lawndale and sister-in-law Irene Ledford of Casar.

A special thank you to Mary Cranford and Tammy Kerr for helping take care of our mother for the last few years. Keeping her at home was our goal and you helped make that happen.

Thanks also to the kids in her neighborhood who she watched get off the bus every day. You will never know the joy you brought to her just by a wave, smile or chat. You were the highlight of her day.

Visitation – The family will receive friends Saturday, December 16th from 12:00 to 1:30 at New Life Fellowship Church, 1941 Robinson Road, Newton. The funeral will follow with burial at Catawba Memorial Park.
