Betty Dyson

Betty Rose Dyson, 85, of Connelly Springs died Thursday, May 7, 2020 at her home. Born December 5th, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Frank Moore and Hazel Martin.

Betty will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother and grandmother to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son Christopher Scott Wilson.

She is survived by her three daughters Chandra Shinn of Kannapolis, Felicia Harkey and husband Danny of Newton, and Melinda Dyson and John Klaver of Stony Point; three sons Randal Wilson and wife Tressa of Newton, Junior Wilson and wife Ann of Lincolnton, and Benny Dyson of Connelly Springs; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, she loved blue roses and enjoyed eating ice chips and having company. She loved going to the mountains and she also loved playing games on the computer while listening to her country music.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions there is no service planned at this time.
