Betty Harrelson

Betty Jane Harrelson 93 of Hickory died Friday, January 1st, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born July 10th, 1922 she was the daughter of Hayden Puckett Roberts and Flora Bell Phiffer Roberts. A son, Hayden Sloan and wife Brenda of Spruce Pine, NC; four grand-children, Hayden Sloan, Jr., Melanie Sloan, Jamie Pope and Paula Mundy and four great grand-children, Jason Mundy, Austin Mundy, Jesse Pope and Macey Pope survive her. Her first husband, J.C. Sloan and her second husband, William H. (Bill) Harrelson and a son, David L. Harrelson and a brother Hayden P. Roberts, Jr. preceded her in death.
