Betty Hendershot

Betty Hendershot, 76 of Lincolnton, NC. went to be with her Lord on May 4th at 6pm. She won the fight over cancer and life's many hard trials in the only way to really win, by leaving it all behind and moving into that heavenly body. She was born in Seneca, SC on April 20th, 1948. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She will always be remembered by her warm smile, loving touch and by her sweet spirit. Not to mention her biscuits, fried chicken and banana pudding. She loved the Lord so much and was a believer of this Last Day Message. She's no longer suffering or in pain. She is running the hills of glory.

She is preceded in victory by her late husband Richard Hendershot. Her eldest daughter Lisa Smith, her dad and mom, Courtenay and Rose Smith of Seneca, SC. Also, by her late brothers, Larry, Charles and Ronnie Smith of Seneca, SC.

She is survived by her 5 children. John Smith and his wife June of Seneca, SC. Eric Hendershot of the home. Michael Hendershot and his wife Amanda. Andrew Hendershot and his wife Stephanie. Rebecca Hendershot and her son Cameron of the home. By her two sisters, Bonnie Hawkins and her husband Buddy and Bobbie Finkenstadt and her husband Carroll of Seneca, SC. She is also survived by multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She knew this earthly body was just a temporary place and was ready to go home.

The memorial service will be held on May 18th at Revealed Word Tabernacle. Address 2834 Hampton Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092. Officiating will be Betty's pastor Bro. Don Johnson. Receiving of friends will be 1pm to 2pm. Memorial service to follow at 2pm to 3pm.
