Betty Jean Potts 79,of Hickory died Thursday, August 25th, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born August 5th, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Ken and Mae Brittain.
Her daughter Pamela Lail of Hickory; two sons Grady Dale Potts Jr. of Hickory, James Potts and wife Toni of Icard; two sisters, Revonda Greenway of Hildebran, Linda Bevins and husband Paul of Mountain View; a brother Charles McKinley Brittain and wife Catherine of Dunn; two grandchildren Aaron Potts of Hickory, Amanda Potts of Hickory survive her.
The funeral will be 4:00pm Monday, August 29th, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Bert Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm -4:00 pm Monday, August 29th, 2016 at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Betty Jean Potts Memorial Fund at 4081 Startown Road Newton, NC 28658
