Betty Thompson

Betty Faye Thompson, 80, of Lincolnton, went home to be with
her Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 21st, 2023. Born March
11th, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Robert Fredell
and Lillian Gertrude Fredell of Gastonia, NC.

She is survived by her husband of 59 loving years, Jerry
Thompson; her children, Teresa Lynn Carswell (Robbie), Terry A.
Thompson, and Wendy Mitchell; her siblings, Martha Scoggins,
Edith Futch, Jessie Thompson, and Patrice Fredell; her
grandchildren, Danielle Dunn (Kyle), Tyler Carswell, Russell
Thompson, Miranda Thompson, Terry Thompson II, Brittany
Thompson, David Wilkerson, Henry Griggs, Ivy Griggs, Sherry
Voudouris, Christina Voudouris, and Elisabeth Morgan; and
eleven great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jessie Robert Fredell and Lillian
Gertrude Fredell, she is preceded in death by her sisters,
Annabell Wright, Mary Karriker, Ellen Peek and Granddaughter
Sally Carswell.

A Memorial Service at Center View Baptist Church located on
East Maiden Road, Maiden, NC at 2PM.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be given to your local hospice.

Jenkins Funeral Home staff is not involved in the memorial
service at the church.
