Billly Wilkinson

Billy Ray Wilkinson, 56 of Wilkinson Cove Lane, Vale, died Thursday August 31, 2006 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born September 15, 1949 he was the son of Claude Francis and Katie Lois Jonas Wilkinson. He was a former machine operator with the Furniture industry. Survivors include his mother Lois J. Wilkinson of the home, a sister; Myra Wilkinson Watson of Newton, two brothers; Claude D. Wilkinson, Sr. of Mocksville and Marshall Lee Wilkinson of Vale. The funeral will be 7:00 p.m. Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Dean hart and William Church officiating. Burial will follow in Startown-Jenkins cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The Billy Ray Wilkinson Memorial Fund, c/o Startown First Baptist Church, 2615 Sigmon Dairy Rd.
