Billy Smith

Billy Ray Smith, 77 of Catawba, NC died Saturday, December 6th, 2014 at his residence. Born August 17th, 1937 he was the of the late Russel Smith and Macil Rucker Smith. Billy always had a good sense of humor even during his illness. He was liked by everyone he met. He enjoyed NASCAR, four wheelers and camping in West Virginia. He loved to Skype with his sister and enjoyed computer games. A daughter, Joyce Smith of the home; a son, Billy Ray Smith, Jr. of the home; two sisters, Delores Beverlin of Zephr Hills, FL and Ann Roysden of North Ridgeville, OH; three grand-children, Cindy, Janet and Terra; four great grand-children; and three grand-dogs will be dearly missed. His wife, Janet Christine Smith preceded him in death. A graveside service was held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014 Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev.
