Bobbie Setzer

Bobbie Jane Setzer 74 of Catawba, passed away Wednesday June 12, 2013 at Catawba Regional Hospice in Newton. Bobbie was born in Catawba County April 17, 1939 to the late Jewel Clyde Eastridge Abernathy. Bobbie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she enjoyed family events, sewing and ceramics. In addition to her parents her husband of 58 years, Billy Setzer Sr. preceded her in death. A son, Billy Setzer, Jr. of Newton, two daughters; Ginger Lynnette Lynch, and husband William of Catawba and Sherry Huffman Carroll of Catawba; a brother, Charlie Abernathy and wife Brenda of Catawba; a sister, Jessie Pannell and husband Bruce of Claremont; 7 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews survive her. The funeral will be 3:00 pm Saturday June 15, 2013 at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Catawba with the Reverend Ronald Lytle officiating. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery.
