Bobby Danner

Bobby Lee Danner, 82, of Maiden passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Carolina Caring. Born October 28th, 1940, he was the son of the late Harvey Lee and Dora Danner. Bobby’s favorite hobbies were collecting classic cars, restoring them, and traveling to car shows. He was a proud member of the Late Great Chevys car club and had been on multiple travels for multiple years with this club. He was a dedicated family man who had a great love for his grandchildren and he will surely be missed by his friends and family.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Verdell Danner of the home; his sons, Bobby Jr. (Kim McDaniels) of Newton, Michael Danner (Katherine Armstrong) of Maiden, Brian Danner (Jennifer) of Maiden, Stacy Anderson (Holly) of Kings Mountain; his daughters, Danielle Anderson of Greensboro NC, Bobbie Fisher (Ricardo) of Mathews NC, Teresa Villarreal (Joseph) of the home; 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sister-in-laws, Lillie Mae Harbison and Rachel Allison along with a host of nieces and nephews and a special friend, Ross Lawrence; his brothers, Bishop Gaither Danner (Vanessa) of Newton, Donald Corey (Audrey) of Hickory, and George Danner (Tootsie) of Hickory; his sister Katie Jennings (Decon Steve) of Honey Point; and his sisters in law, Annie Danner of Newton and Carolyn Danner of New York.

In addition to his parents, Harvey Lee and Dora Danner, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Nathaniel Danner, Chief Apostle Wade Danner, Glen Danner, and Johnny Danner; and a sister, Christien Danner Williams.

The funeral will be 2:00 P.M. December 31st at Jenkins Funeral Home with Bishop Gaither Danner and Overseer Katie Jennings officiating. Burial will follow at Mary F. Danner Cemetery.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
