Bobby Lowman

Bobby Lowman, 70, of Hickory died Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born January 10th, 1954, he was the son of the late Pinkney Lowman and Rosa Lee Barnes. Bobby was a man of few words but was always willing to lend a hand, he enjoyed watching movies with his daughters. Bass fishing and spending time on his boat with his family was something he thoroughly loved.

His daughters, Suzetta Lowman, Christina Lowman Connolly (Billy), Miranda Lowman, and Rachel Lowman Goossens (Garrett); his grandchildren, Jesse, Elisha, Taylor, Criscinda, Kayleigh, Aaron, and Trinty; his siblings; Henry Lowman (Louise), Doffie Lowman, Johnny (Becky) Lowman, Annie Mae Fox, Pinkney (Sonny) Lowman, and George Lowman, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews survive him.

In addition to his parents, his sisters, Mattie Lowman Teague and Gladys Lowman Collins, and brothers; Clyde Lowman and Danny Lowman preceded him in death.

The funeral will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Connelly Springs Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Aaron Causby officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 P.M and burial will follow at the Lowman Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Billy Connolly, Garrett Goossens, Tim Lowman, Johnny Lowman, Henry Lowman, and Doffie Lowman.
