Bobby Smith

Bobby Lee Smith, 40 of Lincolnton died at his residence Monday December 9th, 2013. Born December 11th, 1972 he was the son of Lee Thornberg and Linda Kay Smith. In addition to his mother Linda; two sons Chance and Bryan Smith of the home; a daughter Kayla Smith of the home; two sisters Robin Smith and husband Dennis of Lincolnton, Jean Lail of Lincolnton; grand-mother Edith Smith of Lincolnton; a former wife Rebekah Smith of Lincolnton; and several aunts and uncles survive him. In addition to his father Lee Thornberg; a special grand-father Charlie Smith precedes him in death. The funeral will be 5:00 pm Friday, December 13th, 2013 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Disher officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00-4:50 pm, Friday, December 13th, 2013 in the chapel. Memorials may be made to The Bobby Lee Smith Memorial Fund at 4081 Startown Rd. Newton, NC 28658.
