Bobby Smith

Bobby James Smith, Sr., 75 of Conover died Saturday, February 27th, 2016 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born October 21st, 1940 in Alabama, he was the son of the late Alvin Morris Smith and Emma Morene Smith. A daughter, Kay Smith of Atlanta, Georgia; a son, Bobby James Smith, Jr.of Griffin, Ga; four sisters, Ruby Streeter of Radcliff, KY, Linda Meeks of Phoenix,City, AL, Nora Wright of Smith Sation, AL and Judy Robinette of Hickory and a grandson Ian Sebastian Smith survive him. In addition to his parents; a sister, Marie Smith preceded him in death. The funeral will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 1st, 2016 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at 1:30 Wednesday March 2, 2016 at Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 12-1:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
