Bobby Welch

Bobby Dennis Welch 53 of Newton died Monday, February 8, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born November 3rd, 1967 he was the son of Dewey Ray Welch and Elaine Frances Shook Welch. A devout Christian who loved the Lord he was a surgical Tech at Frye Regional Medical Center. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed being a handyman. He loved spending time with his grandbabies and enjoyed sports, traveling to the beach and the mountains.

His wife, Jami Harrill Welch of the home; A daughter, Emily Lauren Welch of Newton; a son, Kyle Zane Welch and wife, Rachel of Newton; his mother, Elaine Frances Shook Welsh of Conover; three brothers, Dewey Welch, Jr. and wife Tammy of Newton, Matt Welch of Claremont and sister-in-law, Bettina of Conover and Andy Welch and wife Robin of Newton and three grandchildren, Zander, Josiah and Atlee and numerous nieces and nephews survive him.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00pm Thursday February 11th, 2021 at the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.
