Brenda Carpenter

Brenda Kathleen Carpenter, 80, of Lincolnton died Monday, February 12, 2024 at Cardinal Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born April 4th, 1943 she was the daughter of Russell Franklin Payseur and Mandy Elizabeth . Brenda loved to fish and she loved flowers and gardening. She enjoyed helping people and always loved to play checkers with her family. One of Brenda's favorite things to do would be to go to a buffet style restaurant with her family.

Her three sons, Gene Carpenter (Ann) and their children Heather (Paul) Neihoff and Misty (Todd) Simmions; Rocky (Clelie) Carpenter and their daughters, Shanna Carpenter and Alaina Carpenter; and Howard Carpenter and fiance, Bridget Tuno; four grandchildren, Travis Harris, Josh Coleman and Biddy (Kevin) Nicholes and three great-grandchildren, Lylah and Remi and Alex survive her.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Jerry Carpenter and son, Troy Carpenter preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be 1:00 P. M. Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Landers Chapel United Methodist Church following the morning worship service, and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
