Brenda Lois Harvell Hardin, 74, of Conover passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born June 15th, 1948, in Johnson City, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Mack Minton and Irene Harvell.
She worked for many years at J&S Cafeteria. She was a member of Freedom Biker Church in Conover.
She is survived by her son Matthew Stewart of Conover, adopted daughter Alma Garcia and husband Alex Gomez of Hickory, adopted granddaughter Alexia Gomez of Hickory, her brother Gene Harvell and wife Dianne of Hickory, her sister Faye Sullivan of Johnson City, TN, her niece Regina (Nathaniel) Stewart of Johnson City, TN, and her niece Tamara (Tom) Day of Bluff City, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Roby Hardin, her son Mark Hardin, and brother-in-law Hugh Sullivan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
Per Brenda's request there will no public ceremony.
