Brenda Reeves

Brenda Irene Reeves 64 of Newton died Friday, August 3rd, 2018 at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville. Born November 4th, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Raymond Randolph Reeves and Wilma Brendle Reeves. Brenda served in the US Navy as an illustrator draftsman during 1972-1976 in the Vietnam Era. She worked for MDI for many years.

Her Life Partner of 28 years, Cindy Elliott of the home; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Terry and Barbara Grammar of Gastonia; a nephew, Richard Witherspoon and wife Nikki of Conover; a great niece, Ella Presnell of Conover and a great nephew, Cooper Witherspoon of Conover survive her.

The funeral will be 6:00 pm Monday, August 6th, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Linda Veltheim officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm Monday, August 6th, 2018 at Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.
