Brian Miller

Brian Frank Miller, 49, of Hickory passed away Sunday, August 13th, 2023, at Lake Hickory in Catawba County. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina on October 6th, 1973, he was the son of Dwight Miller (Linda) and Dr. Brenda Adams (Russ). Brian worked for 84 Lumber for 20 years as a successful national sales representative, he was a former home builder, and he also carried a contractor's license. He had such a passion for life and always lived each day to the fullest. His smile was irresistible, and he has never met a stranger. His comments were humorous, and he always had a manner about him of making you laugh. He dearly loved his children. He was a very good cook, a good host, and he always had good company. Brian was a very hard worker, and he always endeavored to do his best. He dearly loved his beautiful wife, Amber with all his heart. He loved all his children, his family, and his friends. He is very proud of all his children. He loved to play sports such as wrestling, baseball, golf, basketball, and football. He enjoyed boating, riding his jet ski, fishing, flying planes, camping, snow skiing, traveling, and spending quality time with his family and his friends. Brian was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to so many and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Amber Miller of the home; four children, Drake Miller, Devin Miller, Hannah Smith, and Grayson Smith; his Mother, Dr. Brenda Adams (Russ), his Father, Dwight Miller (Linda), his sister Samantha Ashley Gross, Esq. (Peter), and his brother Jonathan Adams (Brooke); his nieces and nephews, Peter Gross Jr., Cody Gross, Emily Gross, Jonathan Adams Jr., Tatum (Tater) Adams, and a grandchild, Aria Miller; other family members such as Damon Hambright, friends, and his beloved fur babies, Tito, Walker, and Millie.

The family will receive friends from 3-4:30PM on Sunday, August 20th, 2023, at Jenkins Funeral Home with the service following at 4:30PM with Rev. Harley Scalf officiating.
