Bruce Farmer

Bruce Kyedale Farmer, 61 of Newton died Sunday, November 6th, 2016 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born April 17th, 1955 he was the son of Elizabeth Farmer and the late Arnold Farmer. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Republic of Korea in the Medical Battalion. He was the former Director of Radiology at Davis Regional Medical Center and most recently a cardiac cath technician. His wife of 14 years, Wanda Elliott Farmer of the home; his mother, Elizabeth Farmer of Lexington, NC and a brother, Arnold Bobby Farmer of Lexington, NC survive him. A Celebration of Bruce's life will be 11am Friday November 11, 2016 at Mountain View Baptist Church 4266 River Rd Hickory. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 am Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made c/o the Farmer family to help defray costs to Jenkins Funeral Home 4081 Startown Road Newton, NC.
