Calvin Propst

Calvin Barnard Propst, 87, of Hickory died Thursday, June 9, 2022 at his residence. Born October 18th, 1934 he was the son of Wayne Howard Propst and Lexie Lee .

His daughter, Scottie Renee Lutz-Hickory; step-daughter, Tammy Faye Hobbs; brother, Willard Propst and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren survive him.

In addition to his parents, his first wife, Carolyn Regina Propst; wife, Ruby Faye Bean; daughter, Debra Lynn Allen; son, Calvin Yates Propst; great-granddaughter, Jessica Howell and three brothers preceded him in death.

The funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 13, 2022 at Gateway Baptist Church with Pastor Jerome Walker officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M. and burial will follow at Mays Chapel United Methodist Church with Military Rites.
