Carl Edward Jennings 62 of Conover died Thursday, May 10th, 2018 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born October 2nd, 1955 he was the son of the late Earl Jennings and Peggy Inscore Jennings.
God rewarded "Ed" at the age of 62 by taking away his pain and allowing him to join his parents, Earl and Peggy Jennings and his sister, Brenda Shook, in his heavenly home. He is survived by sister Phyllis Jennings, with whom he lived, and Judy Setzer of Claremont and brothers Jackie of Conover, and Marty of Hickory. Per his wishes, there will be no serevices. However, the family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm Monday, May 14th, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home, whom the family has entrusted to care for their loved one.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
