Carol Brunner

Carol Ann Niewulis Brunner 84 of Hickory died Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born November 17th, 1936 she was the daughter of Chester Wawrzyniak and Stella Kwiatkowski Wawrzyniak.  She was a member at St Aloysius Catholic Church where she served in many groups and managed the Christian Articles store. She gave to and served her family greatly. She loved cross word puzzles. We loved her for her incredible sense of humor and how she enjoyed bantering with her family. She loved God and spoke His truth into all of our lives!

A daughter, Elaine Bunton  and husband Chris of Conover; three sons, Ken Niewulis and wife DeeDee of Conover, Steven Niewulis of Hickory, and Kevin Niewulis and wife Nancy of Jacksonville, Flordia; five grandchildren, Nick, Arielle, Paul, Allison and Natalie; nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren survive her.

A service to remember her life will be held at a later date. A private burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory.
