Carolyn Cook

Carolyn Jane Cook, 57, of Maiden, passed away Monday, April 1st, 2019 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House. She was born May 2, 1961. She was the daughter of Roman Pink and Vergie Underwood, the wife of Cecil Eugene Cook, the mother of Kelly Sterling and Kathy Lucas, a sister of one deceased brother Paul Swink, a sister of two living siblings of David Swink and Mary Price, and a grandmother of 5 grandchildren.

Carolyn had a long journey. She stayed strong and brave through every step of the way. She loved her family, friends, fur babies, but most importantly she loved her Lord. She had a smile on her face even through her hurt and pain, because she knew God was with her through it all. She loved the outdoors, always on the move. Never did you  hear her say "I can't do it", because she knew she could.

A celebration of her life will be at 4:00 pm, Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Jenkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
