Carolyn Little

Carolyn Jeanette Little 77, of Hickory died Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 at her home after an extended illness. Born October 19th, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian Hanes Meroney. She was loved by many family and friends who have shown their love during her long illness by cards, calls and visits. Carolyn was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses for more than 60 years. Her love was to volunteer with the Bible Education work, teaching others about Jehovah God. She loved sharing her knowledge about the Bible. Her family and friends will miss her many wonderful meals prepared over the years. She will be missed by all who have known her throughout the years. In addition to her husband of 60 years, Glenn Ervin Little; two daughters Susan Little of Hickory, Dawn Hudson of Conover; two sons James and Glenn Little of Hickory; a sister Margie Beard of Hickory; two grandchildren, Jermi Little and wife Jacqueline of Hickory, Jesse Hudson and wife Whitney of Taylorsville; three great grandchildren Legacy, Lancelot, and Logan Jackson of Washington, DC; and many Nieces and Nephews survive her. A grandchild Jerneia Jackson preceded her in death. The funeral will be 5PM Saturday, October 10th, 2015 at Kingdom Hall Hickory with Bob Burns officiating.
