Carolyn Jane May Swink, 70, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at her home in Vale. Born September 13th, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Kent Rudolph May and Artie Estelle May.
She worked for over 20 years at JPS. She loved her family, gardening, and getting outside. She adored her grandkids. She enjoyed her pork rinds, Diet Mountain Dews, painting, and hummingbirds.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Pink Swink, Jr.
She is survived by her children Tammy Keener (Todd) of Lincolnton, Amy Leatherman (Allen) of Vale, and Jamie Swink (Tonya) of Lincolnton; grandchildren Caleb and Noah of Lincolnton, Peyton Leatherman of Vale, Landon Eastridge of Lincolnton, and J.T. Leatherman of Vale; one great-granddaughter Caroline Keener of Havelock; brother Ervin May (Peggy), and sister Rachel Hollar.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
