Carroll Day

Carroll Lee Day Jr. 56 of Taylorsville died Sunday, October 5th, 2014 at Catawba Valley Medical Center Born September 4th, 1958. He was the son of Carroll Day Sr. and the late Vee Breeden. In addition to his father Carroll Day Sr. and wife Norma of Hickory, NC, a step mother Ola Day of Taylorsville, NC; three daughters Stephanie Day of Hickory, NC, Windy Reinhardt and husband Dennis of Norfolk, Va, Caitlyn Day of Hickory, NC; a son Colby Lail of Taylorsville, NC; two sisters Cynthia Tucker and husband Kyle of Hampton falls, NH, Susan Franklin and husband Rick of Taylorsville, NC; one brother Michael Day of Taylorsville, NC; and a number of grandchildren survive him. In addition to his mother Vee Breeden, two brothers Brent Day and Lee Ivey Jr. Precede him in death. A Memorial Fund will be set up at Jenkins Funeral Home & Cremation Service at 4081 Startown Rd Newton, NC 28658 The funeral will be 3:00 pm Thursday, October 9th, 2014 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Faulkenbury officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the ceremony.
