Catherine Jarrett

Catherine "Nancy" Blake Jarrett, 75, of Maiden departed this life on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Charlotte Region. Born April 4th, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Johnson W. Blake and Ruth Friday Blake. Catherine enjoyed cutting her grass, working in her yard, going to yard sales and the flea market.

Those left to share beautiful memories are her children; Terri Lawing, Sylvia Law and Jerry Law (Amanda); grandchildren, Tristan Lawing, Tevin Lawing, Shakendra Mack, Ashley Law and Tysheona Parson great-grandchildren, Ty'Zir Davis, Kyran Davis, Kysen Davis and Kordin Lawing; sisters, Shirley Easter, Brenda England, Cynthia Woodward (Carlos) and Donna Tolliver (David); her brother, James F. Blake and special friends, Lafayette Jarrett and Karen Robinson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Reginald Law; sister, Peggy Blake Farley; brothers, George M. Blake, Johnny W. Blake, Thomas Blake, Samuel Blake and Boyce Blake.

The funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Jenkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service and burial will follow at Hollybrook Cemetery in Lincolnton.
