Catherine Miller

Catherine Mildred Miller, 94, of Hickory died Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Springs of Catawba. Born April 21st, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Clarence Julius Fulbright and Lydia Emma Fulbright. Catherine graduated from Hildebran High School in 1947.

Her sister, Reta "Rita" Fox and special friend, Terry Young; brother-in-law, Joe Miller; nieces and nephews, JoAnna Heilman (Robert), Rebecca Kiell (Charles), Donna Prichard and special friend, Eddie Anderson, Patricia Lynch, Brandon Lynch, Calvin Miller, Richard Fulbright, Karen Backus, Debbie Cain, Mark Fulbright and numerous others and great-niece, Alyson Prichard survive her.

In addition to her parents, her husband of 62 years, John Miller; her son, Curtis Miller; siblings, Carolyn Miller, Phyllis Dameron, Jack Fulbright and Frank Fulbright; brother and sister-in-laws, Roland Wright, John Pitts Sr., Harold Miller, Charles Miller, Helen Frye, Roscoe Reed, James Fox, Barbara Icenhour, Dorothy Reed, Evelyn Pitts, Jeanine Miller and Peggy Miller and nephews, Perry Fulbright, Ralph Fulbright, David Harris and John Pitts Jr. preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. David Drysdale officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 P.M., and burial will follow at the church.
