Charles Verle Kistler Jr.

Charles Verle Kistler Jr, 45, of Hickory went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, February 9, 2025 in Burke County. Born, April 17th, 1979 he was the son of Charles Verle Kistler Sr. and Carla Jean Hilton. Charles will be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, and grandfather. Though his time here was short he managed to touch the hearts of all those around him and he will be dearly missed.  

He is survived by his sons, Cody Dylan Kistler and Dalton Charles Kistler; his mother, Carla Jean Hilton (Charles); his father, Charles Verle Kistler Sr; his brothers, Christopher Jason Kistler and David Keith Kistler; his grandmother, Nancy May; his grandchild, Oakley Mae Kistler; his nephew, Braxton Kistler; his nieces, Jaylin Shea Kistler and Xainey Kistler; seven step-sisters; one step-brother; and many other loved family members. 

He is preceded in death by his uncle, Terry Allen Heron; and his aunt, Betty Janette Caldwell.

The family will receive friends 12-1PM, Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center. 

The funeral service will be 1PM February 13, 2025 in Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park located at 3010 US-70, Newton, NC 28658.
