Charles Spencer

Charles Wayne Spencer, 68 of Newton died Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 at his home. Born October 1st, 1946 he was the son of the late Bueford and Marie Williams Spencer. He served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. A son Charles Spencer II and wife Rachael of Fort Bragg; two sisters, Jeanie Murray and husband Steve of Newton, Ann McCrary and husband Bob of Statesville, NC; a brother Ronnie Spencer and wife Carolyn of Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren, Charlie Spencer III, Seth Spencer, and Ryleigh Spencer of Fort Bragg; and a number nieces and nephews survive him. In addition to his parents, his daughter Heather Lea Spencer; and a brother Bueford Spencer preceded him in death. A Graveside Service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, April 26th, 2015 at Conover Cemetery with Pastor Dale Faulkenbury officiating. Please sign the online guestbook at www.jenkinsfuneralhome.net.
