Charles Patrick Wilkinson, 72 of Newton passed away Thursday, January 21st, 2016 . Born May 9th, 1943, he was the son of the late Charles and Ruth Wilkinson. Charles was a retired Navy Veteran who served for over 20 years. In addition to his wife of 52 years Kathleen, three sons, Charles Wilkinson of lake Charles, Louisiana, Sean Wilkinson and wife Bobbie of Raleigh, NC, Byron Wilkinson and wife Heather of Raleigh, NC; 6 grand children, Brooke, Justin, Brent, Hunter, Gracelyn, and Amillia survive him.
