Charles J. Zalinski 77 of Hickory died Monday, December 16, 2019 at his home. Born April 14th, 1942 he was the son of the late Charles Zalinski and Virginia Murphy Zalinski.
Charles, known as Charlie, retired from US Postal Service, served in the US Army during Vietnam, and was an avid sports fan.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Edith of 25 year, a sister Shannon, niece Kelly and many more nieces and nephews.
Charlie was an avid fan of The Chicago Bulls, Chicago Black Hawks, Chicago Bears and his beloved CUBS. "Baseball is a game of atmosphere and anticipation, punctuated by moments of brilliance and excitement. "
The funeral will be 10:00 am Friday December 20, 2019 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
