Chena Stewart

Chena Neal Stewart, 64 of Newton died Wednesday, November 11th, 2015 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born October 1st, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Clarence Clapp, Jr. and Lettie Perry. She is a graduate of Newton-Conover High School and earned a bachelor degree from Lenoir-Rhyne College and her Master's from Appalachian State University. Three sons, James Christopher Stewart and wife Cheryl of Wake Forest, NC, Casey C. Stewart of Newton and Corey N. Stewart and wife Kristen of Hickory; two sisters, Vivian Pike of Newton and Alice Phirrmann of Hendersonville; cousins, Donna and Debbie Pike and 10 grandchildren survive her.
