Chris Walsh

Chris Walsh, 44, of Hickory passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 9th, 2019 at his home. Born, July 15th, 1974 he was the son of David Walsh and Phyllis Brittain Walsh. Chris loved to travel and was an accomplished billiards and poker player.  He was a professional texas holdem player and has won a seat to many big tournaments around the world. Chris was a loving and caring husband, brother and son.

In addition to his parents, his wife of 15 years Jennifer Boliek Walsh; three sons Christopher Walsh Jr. of Valdese, Michael Walsh of Statesville, Dylan Walsh of Valdese; a sister Cindy Compton and husband Phillip of Connelly Springs, and his niece Azalea Compton of Connelly Springs survive him.

His sister Tracy Nichole Walsh; and his best friend Phillip McLean preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life will be 6:00 pm Thursday, January 17th, 2019 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Earlynne Bartley officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm -6:00 pm Thursday, January 17th, 2019 at Jenkins Funeral Home.
